LEEF Launches Annual
Giving Tuesday Fundraiser & Alumni Challenge
The Ladysmith Educational Enrichment Fund, an endowment that helps fund
enrichment activities in the school district, will conduct its annual fundraising campaign
November 29th through December 3, 2021. The event, which coincides with National
Giving Tuesday, encourages donors to be thankful for the education they received at
LHS, and to donate to LEEF, a fund that awards grants to enrich the curriculum with
special opportunities that would otherwise be unaffordable for our students.
An Alumni Challenge is a part of the fun. The Class of 1965 has challenged all other
classes to participate by donating. The winner of the class challenge is the class that
registers the largest number of donors. Since the Challenge began 3 years ago, the
Class of 1965 has won every year! Others have come close, but ’65 remains undefeated.
